More autumn colors coming out of the studio. This maple pecan cupcake is sitting on a deep burgundy background. Burgundy is essentially a neutralised shade of red. Begin with a bright stop sign red, add a bit of purple, and a touch of black. The trick to mixing colors well is to mix them often, and of course keep track of what works and what doesn't.
