A delicious study in complementary colors! Yellow and violet sit across from each other on the color wheel, therefore they are opposites, or complementary. Yellow is a good choice to neutralise violet, and violet will neutralise yellow. Good to know if you are trying to mix anything between a warm gold to a plum.
