Cupcake #356 **sold**

Scott brought this little number down the studio stairs telling me all about it, "It's an ice cream cupcake, you cut off the top and put a scoop of ice cream inside!" Scott is an ice cream junkie, so I'm sure he was devouring this in his imagination! A little hot fudge on top, and you have pure heaven. The brick red background is a little bit on the neutral side and will look great with other earth tones. Have a great day!

Cupcake #335 **sold**

I don't know about you, but I'm kinda worried about the old guy... Spice cake, topped with a generous scoop of cream, and what's left of St. Nick. The background is a chilly snowy blue. Only one more cupcake before Christmas, have you been naughty or nice?

Cupcake #333

Cupcake #333 is a delicious combination of cherry and chocolate! The chocolate cake is topped with a generous scoop of cherry icing, then rolled in cherry infused coconut. A trio of cherries grace the top. The background is a silvery grey, a neutral color to allow the red to shine!

This sounds perfectly delicious, a sweet potato cupcake, topped with toasted marshmallows and candied pecans. Warm and gooey. The background is a fresh pale green that brings out all the warm oranges and touches of red in the cupcake. What a delight!

Cupcake #315 **sold**

Sitting on top of this cupcake is a crispy chocolate shell that is no doubt holding something wonderful! Drizzled with a little icing, and topped with a tiny strawberry, I can sense chocolate bliss! The background is a purple that's reminiscent of blackberries, hmmm, maybe that's a clue to what's inside? This is cupcake #315, that means only 50 cupcakes to go, get them while they're hot!

Cupcake #300 **sold**

Holy smoke! 300 cupcakes! We've marked the occasion with this fun cupcake piled high with marshmallows. The pink and pale green are tints of red and green, which are complementary colors. The background is a pale yellow, neutralised with a touch of black to let the pure colors of the cupcake sing. Only 65 cupcakes to go folks! Get one while they're hot!

Things are looking just beachy! Scott wanted to paint a cupcake representing great times at the beach. We've been to a few Florida beaches this year as well as our most recent journey to Cape Cod. Toes in the sand is always a good place to be. When I asked him if this cupcake would be edible, he said "probably not!" But I'm sure the many talented cake decorators out there could somehow pull this off in sugar and all things wonderful! So here's to the beach, and many wonderful sunsets!

Cupcake #280 **sold**

Chocolate, and a deep crushed blackberry purple, two of my favorite things! Little "poofs" of thick chocolate icing pile on top of each other to build this impressive cupcake. The light source comes from the back, pushing the shadow forward. Perfectly yummy! We went out shopping for fresh models yesterday, so the fridge is full of good things to come, stay tuned!

Cupcake #249 is a classic. Pink icing, pink sugar sprinkles, simple, sweet, perfect. The cake itself is chocolate. The background, a soft neutral off white, that lets the subject shine. Enjoy!

Cupcake #247 **sold**

Life is just a bowl of berries! There is no better way to dress up a simple vanilla cupcake than load it up with the color of berries. Surrounded by a soft strawberry smoothie pink, this is a sweet reminder you to eat your fruits and vegetables! Enjoy!

Cupcake #244 **sold**

A sweet cherry coconut cupcake on a deep red background. The background was deliberately toned down with a bit of black to make the bright red cherry on top shine through. One of the more interesting rules of color theory is that you can change a color (or your perception of it) by simply changing the color around it. A neutral color around a color will make it pop, and a bright color will make it fade a bit, try this at home!
