Cupcake #236

Today's cupcake is simple, yet stunning. Vanilla cake topped with a triple dose of chocolate, surrounded by a beautiful deep pink. This color is made by mixing two different reds, cadmium red, and quinacridone magenta, with just a touch of white. Such a pure clean color it practically sings! Enjoy, and we'll see you again tomorrow!

Cupcake #216

Today's cupcake was a challenge to my color correcting abilities, and it's still not right. The background of this piece is actually the color of fresh really ripe cantaloupe. But when I get that right the color of the chocolate goes way off, so I guess you'll just have to trust me on this one! I love how the icing gradually gets to be a darker and darker chocolate until it reaches the deep devils food cake. Chocoholics unite!

Cupcake #208 **sold**

Today's cupcake, the triple chocolate threat! Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate, surrounded by a raspberry pink background. A sweet piece for a little girl, or a big girl! Group this with other chocolate favorites, or other cupcakes with hints of pink, either way, it's sure to shine!
