Cupcake #358 **sold**

Today's cupcake, in addition to being the perfect gift to tuck away for Valentine's day is also a nice use of primary colors. The red raspberry, blue blueberries and yellow custard are surrounded by otherwise neutral colors. And the liner covered with a scattering of hearts is pretty cool too! 7 more cupcakes to go!

Cupcake #276 **sold**

Today's red, white, and blue cupcake is sitting on a soft buttery yellow background. The vanilla cupcake is topped with a circle of blueberries wrapped around a single strawberry, you just know it's going to be good!

Cupcake #230 **sold**

Today's cupcake just sings summertime to me. Strawberry lemonade surrounded by a blue, blue sky. A polka dotted sky perhaps, but still. Working with a classic primary triad, of red, yellow and blue, a simple cupcake invokes a feeling of balance. Pure and simple.

Cupcake #131 **sold**

It's funny how after posting over 130 cupcakes they can still have distinct personalities! This one just makes me smile, in sort of a six year old's birthday party kinda way! Simple red and yellow, primary colors, with a couple of slices of strawberry on top. The background has subtle polka dots to mirror the big ones in the cup. We are off to The Bayou City Arts Festival in Houston, TX this morning. No cupcakes at that show, I'll be there with my work instead, if you're not familiar with what I do, take a look at www.dresspaintings.blogspot.com I will still be posting a cupcake each day, but like this morning the time will be much more random. And I won't be able to check emails again until the end of the day, so they may be sold before I get a chance to mark them as such. But as always it's first come first serve, so good luck!

Cupcake #118 **sold**

Cupcake #118 is a sunny little number, topped with jelly beans. Lemon yellow icing, pink jelly beans, and a turquoise background make for a variation on a primary color triad, with the bright reds just tossed in there to keep things interesting! Yellow and blue remind me of sunny days, hope you are having one today! Enjoy!

Cupcake #61 **sold**

Scott insists this is a winter themed cupcake because it has cranberries and a dusting of powdered sugar "snow" on top. Personally I think the sunny yellow background would melt any snow in a heartbeat! Piled with fruit and cream, it's the primary colors that make this little number sing, and it's sure to brighten someones day!

Cupcake #49 **sold**

Mmmm, a blueberry cupcake with a cherry on top, what could be better! Scott used a primary triad on this piece, being variations on red yellow and blue, which makes for a well balanced composition. Almost as well balanced as that cherry! And with Thanksgiving burnout setting in, that's about the most clever description I can come up with! Enjoy!
