I love this cupcake! Especially the way the light reflects off the deep chocolate icing, not to mention the little crinkle in the cup. Surrounded by a bright spring green background. Simply beautiful! 4 more to go!
Interested in seeing some of my work? I've just started another blog. You can check it out at www.dresspaintings.blogspot.com
I want a cupcake!
So this is the deal everyone! We will be posting a new cupcake painting Monday through Saturday. Each of these sweet little babies is 5" square. They are painted in acrylic on a canvas that wraps around the stretcher bar and is 1 1/4" deep. The sides are painted black so they don't have to be framed. (But you can if you really want.) Each painting is signed by Scott on the back and numbered with the first one appearing on this blog being number 1. The paintings sell for $110 each, this includes priority shipping via USPS to your address. If you are a local patron we would be happy to personally deliver it! And as an added cool bonus kind of thing, if you buy 3 cupcakes at any time, the fourth one will be half price. Sales are all first come, first serve, and each piece is an original. So, if you see one you really really want don't fiddle! Email me (Kathrine) at kallencole@aol.com Tell me the number of the cupcake you want, your mailing address, and a phone number where you can be reached. We accept checks, Visa, Mastercard or Discover, or we can bill you through Paypal. Whichever is most comfortable for you. I'll call you at the number you've provided and we'll work out the details. That's it, easy, right?
These little paintings are so nifty they'll work just about anywhere, kitchen, dining room, a child's bedroom, even your bedroom, talk about sweet dreams! Maybe not the dentist's office, but who knows!
I am a professional artist happily married to another professional artist! Scott and I met in the South of France, and have built an interesting life here in the small town of Jackson, Georgia. We travel a lot and exhibit in Fine Arts Festivals throughout the U.S. When we aren't doing that we are usually puttering in our studio in the back yard, working in the garden, or fiddling with any number of other projects. Our lives have been made even more fun by our collection of goofy critters, which includes three cats and one spoiled dog!
In addition to some of the Desserts on this blog, can be seen at Dress Paintings, where I post a little less often, but hopefully enough to keep it interesting!
