Cupcake #192 **sold**

What a beauty, the Black Forest cupcake! The top of the cupcake was sliced off, and it's filled with cherries and custard. A chocolate glaze is poured over the top, pure heaven! The background is a rich buttery yellow, although it looks a little pale in the photograph. The perfect piece for the chocolate lover in your life! These make great wedding and shower gifts, and don't just put them in the kitchen, how about the nursery? Or the dining room!

Cupcake #182 **sold**

Today's cupcake has somehow managed to pull off "sultry." A combination of cool, sophisticated, and mysterious! How does a cupcake do that!? Start with chocolate, (that's my personal rule, always start with chocolate,) add a layer of girly pink, and finish with an exquisite full blown rose. Surround all that with a warm melted chocolate background that has a hint of burgundy, and you get sultry. Enjoy!

Cupcake #181 **sold**

OK, this is just pretty. Chocolate, cherries, whipped cream, it has it all. The background is a polka dotted soft khaki. And if you ever wonder what it's like working full time with your artist husband in the same studio you'll have to take a peek at my latest painting. You may just see a little cross pollination of ideas going on! We are currently debating who is the best painter of cherries... Have a great day!

Cupcake #161 **sold**

Sultry, that just seems to be the word that fits, perhaps even moody. Odd choices, I must admit when talking about a cupcake painting. But all that sinful dark chocolate seems to be hiding a secret, the icing has those red undertones, is that a hint of cherry? I certainly hope so! The background is a deep clean blue that leans just a bit towards purple. What a wonderful combination, enjoy!
