Cupcake #312 **sold**

Everything's coming up roses! Chocolate, cupcake, cookie, cream, and a cherry, all those c's make for one pretty cupcake, and are a definite threat to my waistline! Toss in the funky polka dotted background, and this would certainly brighten someones day. Cheers!

Cupcake #237 **sold**

A vanilla cupcake topped with a swirl of pink icing. The cherry on top is that crazy artificial red color, the signature of a maraschino! The spring green background is the complementary color to the pink. A little on the yellow side to balance the pink being a touch on the purple side. All that being said, this little number is sure to brighten someone's day! Enjoy, and tell a friend!

Cupcake #220 **sold**

This is such a beautiful, formal cupcake. Can't you just see a tray of these at a black tie gathering? A mound of sinfully rich chocolate icing topped with shaved coconut and a maraschino cherry. I love how symmetrical this is with the two bands of white breaking up the composition. Perfect!

Cupcake #204 **sold**

Triple cherries on chocolate, if one is good, three has to be better! Surrounded by a mossy yellow green, because it looks so pretty with chocolate brown. The cup is edged with a bit of deep pink to show off the cherries. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and we'll see you on Monday!

Cupcake #181 **sold**

OK, this is just pretty. Chocolate, cherries, whipped cream, it has it all. The background is a polka dotted soft khaki. And if you ever wonder what it's like working full time with your artist husband in the same studio you'll have to take a peek at my latest painting. You may just see a little cross pollination of ideas going on! We are currently debating who is the best painter of cherries... Have a great day!

Cupcake #139 **sold**

All I can think of when I look at this cupcake is strawberries. The color of the icing is that luscious warm pink you'd get from crushed strawberries. A little different from the almost purple hue raspberries give. Topped with not one, but two cherries, this one is sure to send you out to the local bakery. Or into the kitchen to create your own! Cheers!

Cupcake #135 **sold**

Here's a super early cupcake for your Monday morning! We are just about to get back on the road from Houston to home. Yay! The interesting thing about this cupcake is the background, the rich reds and burgundies look like velvet. And the red shows off the mocha frosting and shiny cherry. Hope your day has a cherry on top, and we'll be back on schedule with our mid day postings tomorrow!

Cupcake #132 **sold**

A cupcake piled high with chocolate icing, curled chocolate bark, and not one, but two green maraschino cherries! The background is brick red, to complement the green. I'll keep this short, but sweet this morning, have a great day!

Cupcake #120 **sold**

Red velvet cake, a southern specialty, topped with a creamy icing, pecans, and of course a cherry on top! Put a pale blue background around it and you have another version of a primary triad. Pale, slightly neutral versions of red, yellow, and blue, all at equal distance from each other (more or less) on the color wheel. Add to this an almost symmetrical composition, with the left and right sides being very similar, and you have a simple, pleasing cupcake, with great style! Enjoy!

Cupcake #113 **sold**

A delicious deep chocolate cupcake, all dressed up with a cherry on top. The background is a coral color that reminds me of a deep sunset red. Red is an amazingly versatile color. From the fire engine reds, pure and brilliant, through all the variations of tints and shades. Brick red, salmon pink, fuchsia, burgundy, all begin with red. Enjoy this little cupcake, and all the color that goes with it!

Cupcake # 103 **sold**

There is nothing like a green maraschino cherry to make the whole world look a little odd. But here we have it, I can't even imagine what they have to do to make them green. But you know it's still going to taste good, you just can't go wrong with chocolate and cherries. Surrounded by an almost salmon pink, the complementary color to this bright clean green, only you will know if you have the right spot for this little number! But have no fear, we are going to go on a cupcake run up to the big city for some new ideas, soon the studio will be refueled with cupcakes and calories! And don't forget, tomorrow will be this first Saturday cupcake, so stay tuned!
