Cupcake #101 **sold**

Here's one for all you caramel lovers out there! A caramel cupcake with little chunks of the candy on top. The colors of the cupcake itself are muted variations of yellow ochres and browns, the real kick comes from the bright red background! Sure to add a little pizazz wherever it hangs! Enjoy.

Cupcake #79 **sold**

Today we have a simple, quiet, unassuming vanilla cupcake, on a fire engine red background. I have always loved straight up, no foolin' red. In fact as a girl, I had grand plans to have a red and white kitchen, complete with gingham curtains, when I "grew up." Fortunately that never happened, the growing up part that is, but I do have one bright red wall in my kitchen! This piece will make an eye catching contribution to any collection, or will be a great accent in any room that already has a touch, or a lot of red! Cheers!

Cupcake #64 **sold**

Okay, Okay Uncle we cried! This is the last cupcake before Christmas! We both have a daunting list of commissions and other things to do before the big day, so the Daily Cupcake is going to take a week off. We will be back, full of sprinkles, and cherries, and whatever else we can dream up on Monday Dec. 28th. The emergency cupcake hot line, however will still be open. If you were planning on giving a sweet cupcake painting, and just couldn't nab one in time, email me, we'll squeeze one in. In the meantime we leave you with a winner, berries and cream, on a bold red background. And don't forget, there are still a few available waaaay back in the archives, check out number 6, 41, and 59. See you on the 28th!

Cupcake #57 **sold**

Now this is a stunning cupcake! We were at The Atlanta Cupcake Factory last week (shameless plug) when I saw this cupcake. "Oooh, do this one!" Scott said he didn't think he could, how do you paint red sugary glitter? But we bought it anyway, and a few days later he comes down the studio stairs with this. Wow, it's like Dorothy's ruby red slippers, and red candy apples rolled into one! All on an eggplant colored background, who would have thought a cupcake could be so dramatic? Cheers to the drama queens in our lives!
