Cupcake #365 **sold**

HOLY CUPCAKE! How did this happen folks? We have come to the end of 365 cupcakes! We thank you so much for all your support, we could have never done it without our collectors near and far!
There has been a lot of anticipation over this final cupcake, and we've decided we simply have to let the best (or fastest) collector win. The first person to send me an email to kallencole@aol.com will be the proud owner of the final cupcake. But as a consolation prize to those who aren't first, Scott is willing to do a repeat version of this upside down cupcake for anyone who may want one.
Please continue to follow The Daily Cupcake for a few weeks, this is where we'll post Scott's new series...coming soon!
Thanks again, and keep in touch, we'll miss you all!

Cupcake #336 **sold**

I love all the color in this cupcake, and the brick red background just makes it sing! Striped chocolate sticks and a rainbow of candies crown a delicious scoop of dark chocolate frosting. Sneak a little color into your life, and a little chocolate! Enjoy!

Cupcakes x 3 **sold**

In celebration of Scott whizzing past 100 fans on his Facebook page, (yes he has one, look up Scott's Cupcakes,) we've decided to break pattern and put up this beauty! This sweet group of three, unlike all the others, measures 8" square. So if you've been loving the cupcake series, but have been wishing you could get one just a bit bigger, here is the perfect piece. Like the others, it is on a deep canvas, with the sides painted black. And to make it even better Scott is offering it at 1/2 price. $150. As always, it's first come, first serve! Have a great day!

Cupcake #227 **sold**

Here's your double cherry cupcake to close out the week! The background is almost coral, a bright combination of pink and orange to make the deep purple red of the cherries pop. I love the reflections on the cherries, and all the colors hidden in them. Enjoy your weekend, and we'll see you Monday!

Cupcake #224 **sold**

I love the contrast between the deep blue and bright green in this piece. The blueberries have that soft dusty color that you see when picked fresh. All sitting in a swirl of vanilla frosting, and dressed up with a matching blue cup. Cheers!

Cupcake #210 **sold**

This little cupcake is a pretty collection of soft citrus colors, lemon, and orange, the background can probably best be described as pink grapefruit! Topped with a candy orange blossom, and curls of white chocolate. And the best part is the model is in my fridge! The news you may not know is that Scott's cupcakes can now be found on Facebook, so if you are a facebook junkie like me, just search for Scott's Cupcakes and "like" his page. Then you'll get a reminder each morning just before I post a new one. Cheers!

Cupcake #195 **sold**

We're back with a caramel cherry cupcake. I just love the way the light shines off the caramel and cherries! Surrounded by a soft baby pink, this may be the sweetest shower gift ever! Or even better, hanging in a retro pink kitchen! The possibilities are endless. You'll know if you have the right spot for this, either alone, with a mate, or piled together in a group. Cheers!

Cupcake #193 **sold**

Today's cupcake brings a fresh burst of pure color! I love the combination of pink and orange, which is an analogous discord for the color theory junkies out there. Topped with a delicious little pile of fresh blueberries, this cupcake is looking for a good home.
Have you been enjoying the Daily Cupcake? Please pass a link to our site on to a friend, post it on facebook, tweet if you will! Put a little bug in someones ear, thanks a bunch, and we'll see you tomorrow!

Cupcake #189 **sold**

It's amazing how a little fancy icing can turn a little lemon cupcake into something resembling the Taj Mahal! Surrounded by a soft lavender to complement the yellow, this little piece is sure to brighten someones day! Cheers!

Cupcake #187 **sold**

Mounds of rich cream cheese icing top this cherry cupcake. All dressed up in a fancy pink paper cup, and topped with a fresh cherry, you just know it's going to be good! The bright red background leans just a bit towards the orange side just to show off the pretty shades of pink in the cherry. If you have a bit of red in your kitchen, this one is certainly for you, or powder room, or office...you get the idea! Have a great day!

Cupcake #167 **sold**

A key lime cupcake, sitting in a jazzy little cup. Surrounded by a sky blue background, this is as fresh and pretty as can be! I love the way the icing curls on this one! Green and blue are analogous colors, and since the blue is lightened to the same value as the green, that makes this an analogous discord. This is why the colors sing so! Enjoy!

Cupcake #157 **sold**

Today's cupcake, a combination of chocolate and strawberry is sitting pretty on a golden wheat colored background. The cup is a warm pink, and the fudge icing just sparkles. And the fresh strawberry on top finishes it off right. A warm hello to all the new cupcake fans we met in Birmingham AL this weekend, welcome aboard!

Cupcake #150 **sold**

In contrast to the blue cupcake, this one is surrounded by blue's complimentary color, orange! This is a lovely warm colored piece, even though I teased Scott that the sprinkles look like Lucky Charms! But really all those scattered colors will make this piece work with a variety of colors, pair it with a red, or blue, it will all work. And the background is the color of pumpkin, or sweet potatoes, or the paint on my Dad's '54 Chevy! Enjoy!

Cupcake #144

You just can't go wrong with chocolate and strawberry! Showing off in it's fancy little cup, and piled high with fudge icing with a topping of strawberry jam, this one makes my mouth water! Surrounded by a peach background that reminds me of sherbet, this little cupcake would be a great addition to any collection. Enjoy, and we'll see you tomorrow with two more!

Cupcake #141 **sold**

Scott came down the stairs with this new little treasure, a Boston Creme cupcake! With a super shiny chocolate glaze, and it's sporty green cup, it's perfect! Surrounded by a striking hot pink background, this piece will brighten the dullest of spots! We are off to Texas, (again) this time we'll be at Main St. Fort Worth, drop on by if you're in town. The cupcake schedule is likely to be a little sporadic for the next few days, but we'll do our best! Cheers!

Cupcake #134 **sold**

A simple vanilla cupcake piled high with what looks like ribbons of icing. Using with a warm color palette, yellows through burgundy, keeps this piece unified. Enjoy, and don't forget to find us again tomorrow for our Saturday cupcake!

Cupcake #128 **sold**

We posted a cupcake a few weeks ago with a dog's head on top, so we thought we'd better keep things "even steven" around here. No discrimination in this house, especially as we have a dog, and three cats! Chocolate, a white sugar kitty, all surrounded by a pale, crisp green. Have a great weekend, we'll be back with the latest on Monday!

Cupcake #123 **sold**

A chocolate cupcake crowned with a heap of whipped icing and a sprinkle of chocolate chips, pure heaven! Surrounded by a pale pink background to balance the blues and greens on the cup, this little piece is very versatile. It would pair well with another cupcake sitting on a taupe, blue or green background, or it would sit very happily on it's own. Speaking of sitting, did you know these pieces don't actually have to hang on a wall? They sit very nicely on there own on a table, windowsill, or in a bookshelf. See you tomorrow!

Cupcake #121 **sold**

I just love this one! Sherbet (or sherbert, or sorbet...depending on where you're from) colors, the orange and green just play so well off each other. Little flecks of lime green in the fluffy white icing, I don't know for sure, but this looks like a margarita cupcake to me! I think Scott may have invented a new line of cupcakes, margarita cupcakes, daiquiri cupcakes, the possibilities are endless! Cheers!

Cupcake #119 **sold**

Oh, chocolate, deep fudgey chocolate. You can tell the icing has to be thick and dense when it holds a sharp edge like this, and Scott has caught every highlight and shadow, taking your eye on a little journey through the swirls. All that surrounded by a beautiful canary singing at the top of his voice kind of yellow...with polka dots no less! Yellow is one of the few colors that has very little wiggle room, a bit too far in this direction and it looks green, and go the other way and it's orange. In fact, although I call the background here yellow, Scott has decided it is orange, we'll leave it for you to decide!
