Cupcake #65 **sold**

This rich chocolate cupcake is sitting pretty in a purple cup, covered in bits of candy. Cinnamon candy I think, we'll have to test that later! The candy, cup and background are all analogous colors, as red, purple and blue sit next to each other on the color wheel. Although a cool ultramarine blue would sit closer than this almost turquoise. Enough of that for our first day back! Hope you all had a great holiday, and we'll see you with #66 bright and early tomorrow!

Cupcake #44 **sold**

Mmm, a lemon meringue cupcake, what a great idea! Surrounded by an antique robin's egg blue, this sunny little treat just shines, and would brighten up any room. Remember these are painted on a gallery wrapped canvas, and therefore stand up on their own, hanging is not required. They could sit on a windowsill, or end table, even in the china cabinet! This one is sure to make you smile, enjoy!

Cupcake #14 **sold**

As a color theory junkie I am tempted to rave on about the triad used in this piece, or the stunning use of analogous discord. But I will resist (barely) and just say this is just so fresh and beautiful I can't help but stare. It would fit so well in a retro kitchen, a little girl's room, or smack in the middle of any soft neutral room, just to watch it sing. Can you tell I have a new favorite!?
